Ibinubulong ng pulang rosas ang masimbuyong damdamin
At inihihinga ng puting rosas ang pag-ibig
Ay, ang pulang rosas ay halkon
At ang puting rosas ay kalapati.

Ngunit pinadalhan kita ng maubod na rosal
Na hinahamog ang tuktok ng talulot nito
Para sa pag-ibig na sadyang dalisay at napakatamis
Na may halik ng pagnanasa sa labi.
