Nakipagniig ang mga bukal sa ilog
At ang mga ilog sa karagatan
Ang hangin ng kalangitan ay tuluyang humalo
Sa damdaming katamis-tamisan
Walang anuman sa mundo ang nag-iisa;
Lahat ng bagay sa batas ay banal
Sa isang diwa’y nagkaharap at nagniig
Bakit hindi ako sa iyo? –
Masdan ang paghalik ng bundok sa kalangitan
At nagyayapusan ang mga alon
Walang kapatid na bulaklak ang mapapatawad
Kapag pinagmataasan nito ang kanyang kapatid
At niyakap ng bukangliwayway ang kalupaan
At humalik sa karagatan ang sinag ng buwan:
Ano pang saysay ng lahat ng matatamis na gawang ito
Kung hahagkan mo’y hindi ako?

Why not I with thine? –
See thr mountains kiss high heaven
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth
And the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What is all this sweet work worth
